This Victorian English locking decanter caddy is incredible. This Tantalus, as they are formally called is in good condition with a small inner chip on the stand. There is age appropriate wear and tear to the wood and brass accents adding to the character of the piece. Decanters are period and did not come with the stand but work nicely with the piece. The locking mechanism is not in working order and it does come with the key. The Medium toned oak is warm and still boasts its shine. Each decanter sits inside its own compartment within the caddy. Each of those compartments are lined with a rich plum velvet cushion on the base. The velvet also being original to the piece. What a truly magnificent historical piece from the late 19th century that is a rare find and a generational piece to keep and carry your favorite selection of spirits.
-The caddy measures 14" in length, 11.75" in height and is 5" in width.
-The decanters each measure 7" in height with the stoppers and are 3" in width and depth. See less
