Oak wardrobe attributed to Guillerme and Chambron (1950s), with a warm and highly structured aesthetic.
Beautiful asymmetrical composition: a vertical tambour door on the left and a molded panel front on the right, creating a geometric rhythm. The oak is meticulously crafted with clean joinery, typical of post-war French furniture.
A versatile storage solution: ideal as a wardrobe, linen closet, or office cabinet, with a strong presence without being bulky.
A decorative and functional piece that integrates equally well into a mid-century or contemporary interior.
Guillerme & Chambron, a leading duo in French design from the 1950s and 60s, are key manufacturers for Votre Maison.
They are renowned for their solid oak furniture, with its clear volumes and highly "constructive" joinery details.
Their style, a blend of modernism and traditional craftsmanship, has become a classic of post-war French furniture. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
issues arising from misattribution
