Handcrafted in Italy around the 1950s, these striking pieces are made of forged and repoussé copper, demonstrating the exceptional artisanal metalworking typical of Bragalini’s production. Far more than simple functional objects, these sculptural hooks stand as small works of art, embodying the expressive and experimental spirit of Italian Mid-Century design.

As often seen in Bragalini’s work, the design clearly references primitive and tribal art. Each copper plaque is finely decorated in repoussé with stylized figures rendered in a gestural, almost prehistoric language reminiscent of ancient cave paintings. One panel depicts a lizard, while the other portrays a hunter figure, both executed with an evocative and highly graphic aesthetic. On the reverse side, the plaques feature sculptural Brutalist hooks, whose forms recall animal horns mounted on the wall like hunting trophies, further reinforcing the primitive and symbolic character of the design.
