Floor lamp, produced in the 1930s, combines solid mahogany and metal in a design inspired by the Empire style. It stands on a molded tripod base supporting a turned central shaft, accented by two decorative rings.
At the top, a wide circular metal bowl acts as a reflector and is decorated with a painted frieze along its rim. The lighting is provided by three sockets placed inside the bowl, allowing the light to diffuse upward and create a soft indirect illumination.
The piece reflects the decorative production of the 1930s, blending the vocabulary of the Empire revival with the restrained elegance characteristic of the Art Deco period.
