The box is hand-painted on multiple sides with trompe l'oeil details including paned windows, doorways, corner quoins, and potted topiaries, rendered in a warm palette of brick red, cream, gray, and umber. The storage box has a hinged top and bail pull handles on each side crafted from patinated brass. The surface features a rich patinated and weathered patina finish adding to the authentic English country construction. The box could serve as a blanket chest, coffee table, side, or drinks table or accent piece. Sturdy and strong with a desirable weathered patina on the painted finish as seen in photos. No key present.
