The Partridge Club was founded in 1935 at the Victoria Hotel in New York City. Established by leading purveyors to the hotel, club, and restaurant trade, the organization was created to foster relationships and mutual business interests within the food, beverage, and hospitality industries. Under charter president Henry G. Duvernoy and secretary-treasurer Arthur Simmons, the club quickly became a gathering point for influential figures shaping New York’s dining and service culture.
