It all sits on a golden pedestal. It is quite eye appealing with the crackling degree of paint weathered on it. The globe makes this particular armillary quite unique. I enjoy gazing at it. It was made in the 1980's; stands at 18" high, 14" wide and 10" deep. I purchased this from a private party in Portland, OR. See less
