Executed in walnut veneer with precise geometric marquetry, the piece reflects the disciplined symmetry and architectural clarity characteristic of late 18th-century neoclassicism. The façade is composed of three drawers beneath a slanted fall-front writing surface. When opened, the interior reveals a structured arrangement of small drawers and open compartments, combining functionality with balanced design. The geometric inlay illustrates the restrained elegance of german louis xvi cabinetmaking, where french neoclassical influence meets regional craftsmanship. The walnut veneer has been enhanced with a traditional shellac hand polish, enriching its natural warmth and depth. Presented in very good refinished condition.
