"The Breakout" The yearning for freedom is stronger than any pain! An artwork by an anonymous artist, created in the second half of the 20th century. Barbed wire, salvaged from a prison, is coiled into a kind of tower (prison) containing a bronze sculpture of a human figure. The sculpture is movable and can be completely removed. The bronze figure's body is covered with countless wounds and cuts, a symbol showing that humanity overcomes all pain on the path to freedom. An expressive artwork with enormous power, more relevant than ever in today's world of crises. An eye-catcher that is guaranteed not to be missed! Large and heavy. Dimensions: Total height with bronze sculpture as pictured approx. 40 cm, height of barbed wire coil without bronze sculpture approx. 32 cm, diameter of barbed wire coil approx. 22 cm. See less
