This pair of lounge chairs with an ottoman is an exceptionally rare example of 1960s Czechoslovak design, masterfully combining the futuristic visions of the Space Age era with the honest craftsmanship of traditional materials. The distinctly organic and rounded shapes of the deep shell-like seats, known as lounge chairs, directly invite deep relaxation while serving as an unmistakable aesthetic focal point in any interior. This specific style defines the bold formal language of the time, which fearlessly experimented with soft lines while maintaining a high level of functional comfort for the discerning user.

A complete rarity for originals of this period is the extraordinarily well-preserved condition of the grey upholstery, which has undergone only professional gentle cleaning. The textile features prominent vertical stitching, known as the "sausage" style, which, in addition to its aesthetic function, plays a technical role by helping the padding maintain its permanent shape and significantly increasing the resulting seating comfort. The harmonious ensemble is completed by a massive cross-shaped base made of stained oak with a revived polish, whose striking grain and solidity lend the set a touch of Brutalist Modernism while ensuring perfect stability.

The exclusivity of the entire set is underscored by the presence of a matching ottoman, which echoes the same design language and significantly increases the collectible and market value of this collection. The quality of craftsmanship is further evidenced by the original chrome glides on the underside of the wooden feet, which protect both the material and the floor while facilitating easy movement within the room.
