The chairs feature a tubular chrome-plated metal frame that winds from the base up to the seat and backrest.
The seat and backrest are made of foam covered in black faux leather.
The set is in good original condition.
Born in 1926, Giotto Stoppino was one of the most important figures of the Italian Space Age movement. He worked as an architect but primarily as a designer, creating objects and furniture in colored plastic and chrome-plated metal—the most popular materials of the 1970s. His main creations are undoubtedly tables, chairs, and armchairs in chrome-plated metal, often with sinuous, almost organic shapes.
