The cylindrical tubes at different heights give the lamp a distinctive space age look. The mirror bulbs reflect the light indirectly, creating a warm, atmospheric glow. This model 2165 was produced by s.a. Boulanger in belgium in the 1970s. The fixture consists of a round brass ceiling plate with cylindrical tubes at varying heights, each fitted with a mirror bulb. The lamp uses 9 × e14 (max. 40w). The fixture is marked s.a. Boulanger, belgique, mod. 2165 (see photos). Dimensions: 29 × 29 × 35 cm (w×d×h). In the literature and trade this type of lamp is sometimes attributed to gaetano sciolari, but there is no confirmed source for this attribution.
