Lilly of the Nile (agapanthus), green stems & bract, gold Paisley background.
The Purple, Green, & Gold Mardi Gras color palette originated in 1872 with the founding of the Krewe of Rex in New Orleans. Purple for justice, Green for faith, Gold for power. This pillow originated from a photo I took in my garden last summer. Each Handmade pillow is carefully sewn in limited editions. Pattern placement will vary slightly, ensuring every pillow is one of a kind.
