Gastone Rinaldi (1920-2006) was an Italian designer born in Padua, Italy. He graduated with a law degree from the Belzoni Institute, but he was passionate about design and was received a number of design awards. His designs are part of the collections of major museums.
Throughout his design career he collaboratde with many major Italian designers and architects, including Gio Ponti, Carlo Mollino, Alberto Rosselli and Michele de Lucchi.
These stools have been newly reupholestered in Rogers & Goffigon fabric.
