Original 1950s wall sculpture by American artist Frederic Weinberg. This rare "Gemini" double-figure model captures the high-style Eames Era aesthetic with its abstract figural art and iconic Atomic Sputnik starburst frame.
The molded plaster figure features a rich, textured ochre finish, showcasing the primitive-cubist influence of American Modernism. The metal starburst frame, complete with classic ball finials, has been professionally refreshed in a period-correct gold finish to restore its vintage luster. The reverse bears the production serial stamp B14327 46.
Dimensions: 22" x 21" (Figure: 10.5"H x 9.5"W)
Condition: Excellent vintage condition. Plaster is structurally sound with no major chips. Metal frame has a refreshed gold finish consistent with the 1950s MCM aesthetic.
