Condition:
Very good vintage condition overall. The painted image area is in excellent display condition. The outer edges of the canvas show some fraying/wear, which does not affect the painted composition and would typically be hidden when framed or re-stretched. No paint flaking or lifting. Minor age appropriate surface craquelure consistent with a mid century oil painting. Appears to have been mounted/strecthed on "new" wood relatively recently - wood still has label on it from hardware store (see pic). Canvas is stable and presents beautifully. Examine all the pictures closely. Zoom in & out to get a good sense of its exact condition: a picture tells a thousand words. The painting photos serve as a document as to its condition.
