Crafted from white lacquered aluminum and chrome-plated steel, the large dome rests on the multi layer base and the chrome inner structure. The lamp’s layered base gives it the appearance of an abstract jellyfish, creating a mesmerizing light effect when illuminated. Light escapes through the evenly spaced gaps, casting diffused beams reminiscent of sunlight filtering through an architectural structure of a building. Giving the lamp a very special and unique appearance when lit. Giancarlo mattioli (1933–2018), a visionary italian designer, architect, and urban planner, consistently pushed boundaries with his innovative approach. The mt lamp exemplifies his forward-thinking aesthetic, blending organic inspiration with geometric precision. Designed during one of the most influential years in modern design history, it features a hemispherical shade supported by layered sheets, giving it a distinctive sense of three-dimensionality and adaptability. This rare and iconic piece remains in excellent original condition, a true collector’s item that embodies both function and artistry. For us usage we could change the plug. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
