Awarded the Compasso d’Oro in 1979, Bellini’s project is rooted in a then-radical idea: comfort as structure, where the inner construction and the outer silhouette are conceived as one. Seen here, the sofa reads almost like a soft architectural block—its generous curves and precise piping giving it a distinct, sculptural presence in the room.
