Its inverted cavetto top is accentuated by a bronze molding that highlights its lines and showcases the chased bronze mounts at each corner. The top is surrounded by an openwork brass gallery and fitted with bronze foliate handles that add both elegance and functionality.
The apron, with its harmonious curve, is adorned with brass marquetry in the purest tradition, where arabesques and plant motifs stand out brilliantly against the glowing red background. The interior of the jardinière contains a black sheet metal tray, designed to hold plants or floral arrangements while protecting the exterior marquetry. It could also be used as a storage container.
The base, composed of cabriole legs, extends the fluid lines of the apron. Each foot is decorated with acanthus leaf motifs that continue as a chiseled molding following the curve of the leg, culminating in a bronze sabot adorned with scrolls.

The whole piece is refined, luxurious, and perfectly representative of 19th-century ornamental craftsmanship.
