The programme for Frances Doble in "Ballerina"with a cover design by Rex Whistler. The production was performed by actress Frances Doble at the Gaiety Theatre in 1933 and was a mix of drama, ballet and music. The ballet elements were choreographed by Anton Dolin. Rex Whistler provided the costumes for Doble only and Angus MacBean created masks for the production. Whistler's original, romantic design for the programme features flying ballerinas with garlands of roses and a gothic ruin.
