The piece features the classic … Read more his is an original vintage Lane Acclaim end table, manufactured in 1962 and carefully refinished.

The piece features the classic Acclaim design with sculpted edges, tapered legs with black caps, and the signature dovetail inlay pattern on the top surfaces.

The table has been carefully refinished using a traditional furniture finishing process rather than a simple wipe-on stain. The original finish was stripped from the table top, the surface sanded and sealed, and the color rebuilt using toner before being protected with a satin lacquer topcoat.

All blemishes were carefully repaired to the maximum extent possible without risking damage to the original veneer. While a couple scratches remain visible, they do not affect the overall finish quality (see detail photos).

This approach preserves the character of the wood while providing a durable, even, and serviceable surface for everyday use.
