Vintage Depression Era L&H Electric Enamel Stove TESTED AND WORKING UNIT!
This exceptional L&H Electric (Lindemann & Hoverson) kitchen range is a rare survivor of early 20th-century American industrial design. Has had only 3 owners!
Produced during the Depression Era, this stove exemplifies the transition from cast iron to the sleek, sanitary look of full-enamel finishes that defined the modern kitchen of the 1920s and 30s.
The unit is finished in a sophisticated light tan/beige enamel that remains remarkably vibrant. It is accented by its original black Bakelite knobs, which are in excellent condition and provide a striking contrast to the neutral body.

Sourcing: Being sold from a private estate in Palm Springs, California, within the Coachella Valley.
Operational Status: Unlike many decorative antiques, this unit has been tested and is in working order, making it a functional piece of history.

The enamel / porcelain paint is in pretty good condition but there are a few small spots where it's worn down. For being over 100 years old, it's withstood the test of time beautifully. Spent it's entire life in the desert, came out of the original owners cabin where it was first resold and moved to a private estate where it graced the original gatehouse for the next 50 years which is where it was when I found it. So it's had only 3 owners in 100 years! less
