The design follows the space age aesthetic typical of the era, with clear geometric volumes and a playful, almost technical, aesthetic. At its heart is a spherical lampshade made of red lacquered metal, with a white interior that ensures exceptionally even light reflection. The sphere sits flexibly on a cylindrical base and its tilt can be adjusted, allowing for individual direction of the light beam. The lamp rests on a compact, semicircular base, also made of red lacquered metal. An integrated push-button switch is located on the side, blending harmoniously into the shape of the housing and emphasizing the design's technical and functional aesthetic. The vibrant red lacquer, combined with the minimalist, sculptural form, gives the lamp a strong graphic character, making it a prime example of 1960s italian industrial design. The original manufacturer's label, e. Tronconi – milano / italia, is located on the underside.


the lamp is supported by a compact, semicircular base, also made of red lacquered metal. Condition: good vintage condition with age-appropriate signs of wear. There are a few paint chips and minor scratches on the globe shade, as well as slight wear on the base. The electrical components are in perfect working order.
