There is a spot on the bottom that might have once been a maker’s mark, but is too faded to read. This pot is painted green with some pink with purple flowers that may be hand painted. The actual pot is an antique white that is painted mostly green on the right side. The top section is painted pink on about three quarters of it. The handle is painted (from the top) gold, then pink, then green, then gold again, then green again and more gold. It seems like a lot of effort for a handle. The pot comes with the matching pink and green lid as shown.


The pot measures 4.50 inches wide at the base and is 2.25 inches wide at the neck. It is 10.00 inches tall at the spout and just over 11.00 inches tall to the top of the handle of the lid.

The inside of the pot is white and there is some dirt or staining at the very bottom around the rim. I am trying to clean it, but between the length of the pot and how skinny it is-it’s a bit hard to get down there to scrub. Any advice would be welcome.

The pot has a feature I feel the need to mention. At the top there are two tabs painted gold to hold the lid in place. The lid actually slides in the from the back under these tabs. This is a nice feature as it holds the lid in place while pouring. This can be seen in picture 9.

The pot has no chips, cracks, crazing, or other damage. There is some minor gold wear on the right side on the handle at the top and on the two bumps on the outside of those lid stays. The base and what is left of what might have been a makers mark is shown. The pot is really lovely and destined to become a household treasure. See less
