Italian Renaissance Revival carved walnut server or cabinet dating to the late 19th or early 20th century.

This architectural piece reflects the revival of 15th–16th century Italian Renaissance design that became highly fashionable in Europe and America during the late Victorian and Edwardian periods. Furniture of this movement emphasized bold figural carving, classical ornament, and richly detailed surfaces inspired by Florentine and Venetian palace interiors.

The rectangular top sits above three carved frieze drawers. Below are three cabinet doors framed by projecting half-figure supports reminiscent of Renaissance caryatids. The door panels are deeply carved with fruit-filled urns and scrolling foliate ornament — traditional Renaissance symbols of abundance and prosperity.

Interior layout is particularly functional:

Outer cabinets open to fixed-height shelving

Central cabinet reveals seven interior drawers for organized storage

The cabinet rests on carved scroll-form feet, completing its strong architectural silhouette.
