The armoire retains a beautiful overall presentation with a rich, naturally developed patina. There is minor chipping to small areas of the rosewood veneer, which is typical for a piece of this age, along with a few light scuffs and small dents in scattered areas of the case. These imperfections are minimal and do not detract from the overall elegance and presence of the cabinet. The carved crown remains in excellent condition with crisp detailing and no significant damage. The glass panel is particularly striking—clear and well preserved—with only a few light surface scuffs visible in a handful of areas. Overall, the piece is structurally sound and presents beautifully while maintaining the authentic character expected of a 19th century French antique. less
