Vintage Fire King & Gay Fad Studios Fruit Pattern Mixing Bowl
Hand-painted enamel grapes, peaches, and pears
This vintage mixing bowl was produced during the 1950's. It is the result of a collaboration between Fire King and Gay Fad Studios. Fire King produced the milk glass bowl, and Gay Fad Studios hand-painted the fruit pattern. Unlike most rounded mixing bowls of the time, this bowl has straight sides and was marketed as being "splash proof".
Measures ~ 5 1/2" H x 8 1/2" top diameter.
It is in excellent vintage condition with normal wear. It is without chips, scratches, cracks, or utensil marks. The colors are bright. The milk glass is glossy. Please view the photographs.
