"Out of The Mist"
This pastoral painting is an impression of a group of horses at dawn as the mist is rising off the pond, the horses are glimpsed thru the misty air and their reflections captured in the pond. The emphasis is on mood and feeling rather than fine detail. It’s painted with thick impasto brushwork of blues and greens with glazes to capture the misty air.

This original oil painting is set in a one-of-a-kind, handcrafted frame inspired by Western heritage. Framed distressed wood Black/Walnut frame. Western belts and belt buckles, detailed conchos, Silver Hearts ,turquoise studs, spur Rawling and upholstery tacks which all add texture depth and rustic Western character. Each accent was hand placed which makes Out of the Mist truly unique.
