Over Dixie's many years of making rattles, this is one of her rare nudes. Wide-eyed, serene goddess with black curly hair, and her hands clasped together over her large belly.. She is depicted kneeling with her legs tucked underneath, toes touching.
This Goddess rattle produces a very loud and satisfying rattle sound!
There is a 5/8 inch long, X 1/4 inch wide loss of paint and outer layer of gourd on one tucked under lower leg.

Depth: 7 inches
Although unsigned, I will send a certificate of authenticity. I bought it directly from Dixie at a Bizarre Bazaar In the early 2000s of which Dixie was one of the Founding Mothers!
