Its very rare 1950s lamp base features a characteristic pattern of the time, hand-painted with purple, yellow, pink, and green stripes. It has a vintage glass shade.

this lamp is unique; no others are found among past sales or current listings. Only a single pitcher with the identical pattern was located online, leading to the identification of the maker: h.j. Wood ltd., an english earthenware manufacturer in burslem, staffordshire, from the mid-1880s to the mid-1970s. A truly super rare piece for mcm enthusiasts.

the lamp has been rewired with new italian components and has an e27 socket. A light bulb and wireless remote control are included. Depending on the buyer's location, a uk or european plug will be installed.
