A large antique wash pitcher standing 36 cm tall. This item is distinguished by its material: while similar models were commonly produced in earthenware or majolica, this example is crafted from fine translucent porcelain. The pitcher exhibits a distinct glow when illuminated from within.
The design features a high-relief sculptural swan with hand-detailed feathers. The handle is modeled as aquatic reeds that transition into the swan’s neck. The body is finished in a soft mint green hue with entirely hand-painted details. There are no maker's marks, which is typical for high-quality English porcelain of this period.
Condition
In pristine antique condition, which is rare for a piece of this scale and age. There are no chips, no cracks, and no restorations. All delicate protruding elements, including the beak, feathers, and reed leaves, are fully intact.
