The body is conical and tapered, widening dramatically toward a scalloped upper rim with two original iron ring handles. The surface is studded with riveted seams and decorative nail-head detailing along the central band, evidence of skilled artisan coppersmithing. A small iron spout protrudes from the lower cylindrical base, suggesting use in winemaking, olive oil production, or large-scale food preparation in a rural Italian or Southern European estate context.
The cauldron sits on its original wrought iron tripod stand, which elevates it and allows for fire or heat beneath — a functional detail that underscores its working provenance.
