The cart features a warm mahogany-tone wooden body, decorative pierced brass gallery around both tiers, and elegant spoked wheels that give it a classic mid-century bar service look.

The top expands into a larger serving surface thanks to the folding leaves, making the piece practical both as a bar cart and as a small occasional serving table. The lower tier includes a three-ring holder designed for wine or liquor bottles.

The hardware details reveal interesting period manufacturing features. The wheels carry the D.R.G.M. (Deutsches Reichsgebrauchsmuster) mark, a German registered design used on patented hardware in the late 19th and early 20th century and still commonly found on European furniture components through the mid-20th century.
