A magnificent table lamp by the Danish firm Hanne Stentøj, from the 1960s. It is made of glazed stoneware with a geometric design in various shades of blue and earth tones, and an abstract pattern, both embossed and painted. It fits within the stylistic framework of Scandinavian Modern design.

On a turquoise base, it features a design of a navy blue polylobed figure containing a series of circles arranged in a square. The sides feature circular designs in a darker blue. The lamp's neck rises narrowly, with some protrusions that add dynamism to the design. It has a socket and complete wiring, all functional. New lampshade.

Stentøj, or stoneware, is a high-fired ceramic (between 1100 and 1300 degrees Celsius), resistant and durable, and holds great importance within the Danish ceramic tradition. It is known for its durability and distinctive aesthetic. It is composed of a mixture of clay, quartz, and feldspar, which becomes hard and porous after firing, and may or may not be glazed.
