Since 1951, ry møbler was one of five manufacturers that ejvind kold kristensen affiliated in salesco a/s - company made to give wegner independence in his designs without worrying about exhibitions, production, and export networks. The ry series furniture is mostly wall units and modular bookcases in teak and oak, combining function with wegner's attention to high end carpentry.

the bookcase consists of two independent sections that can be used together as a single unit or separated according to the needs of the interior. Crafted from oak, the bookcase showcases a warm, light golden natural tone and beautifully visible grain. The upper section is open and has three shelves, including two adjustable ones, making it ideal for books, ceramics, or decorative objects. The lower section is enclosed with double doors and also offers two adjustable shelves, providing practical concealed storage. The bookcase stands on two solid oak boards.
