This exceptional vintage-inspired ceramic planter features a bold, globular form defined by deep, vertical undulating ribs. The piece is finished in a highly tactile "fat lava" style glaze, characterized by a pitted, crater-like texture in a soft sage green with subtle sandy-beige undertones. The crown of the planter is finished with an irregular, hand-formed rim that echoes the organic, sea-urchin-like silhouette.
The combination of the architectural ribbing and the earthy, volcanic texture creates a sophisticated focal point for a desktop, shelf, or pedestal. Its sculptural quality allows it to stand alone as an art object or house a dramatic succulent or trailing plant.
