This item is a hand-worked flint glass beer stein with wheel engraving in the style of Stiegel, Germany. It is a copy of a piece from the Metropolitan Museum of Art collection.
This beautiful and vintage beer stein was made of blown glass in about 1970s -1990s. The stein is decorated and hand worked copper wheel-engraved floral details.
Signed: MMA on bottom. (Metropolitan Museum of Art)
This stein has a Pontil mark on the bottom.
This is a modern Copy and is a VERY well made: Reproduction of a Stiegel type Glass.
