This large bookcase instantly structures a space. It adorns an entire wall, creates a warm atmosphere, and offers exceptional storage capacity. A rare piece, designed to last for centuries.

Materials: Solid oak.
Features: This very large antique bookcase, which comes from a castle, is composed of three modules forming a linear unit 4.70 meters long.
The central section opens with four glass doors at the top, revealing wide shelves ideal for displaying books, collectibles, or fine china. The hand-blown glass panes (except for one that has been replaced) provide protection while maintaining a beautiful visual lightness.
The two side sections are open at the top, offering accessible shelves, perfect for adding rhythm to the composition and displaying decorative pieces. At the bottom, the entire unit rests on a series of solid paneled doors, allowing for discreet and generous storage. The lines are clean and elegant: a molded cornice, structured uprights, and framed panels. The solid oak reveals a warm grain and a natural patina enhanced by the restoration.

Renovation: The bookcase was sanded both inside and out (except for the inside of the two side cupboards) to remove its damaged brown varnish while preserving its lovely patina. The bookcase was thoroughly cleaned and left in its raw wood state. Some repairs were made to the structure. One glass panel was replaced.
Condition: The bookcase is sound, solid, and robust.
The bookcase is partially demountable: only the central section can be disassembled, while the two side sections cannot. Due to its dimensions, the central section will be disassembled for transport. Reassembly instructions will be provided in detail, but if needed, a quote can be provided for professional assembly. Dimensions: W4.68m x D41cm x H2.5m.
