Produced by venini, the design reflects the studio’s continued exploration of material depth and surface texture. The lamp is formed as a substantial amber-toned glass sphere, its surface animated by layered glassblowing techniques that trap air bubbles within the molten mass. These striated bubbles circulate continuously around the form, creating a dynamic sense of movement and internal luminosity. The overall effect evokes geological or planetary imagery, reinforcing the piece’s title, “primordiale”. A gold-plated disc mounted at the base provides structural contrast and visual grounding, recalling the ring of a celestial body while balancing the warmth of the glass. The interplay between effervescent amber glass and polished metal enhances the sculptural quality of the design.

dimensions: diameter: 36 cm (14.2 in) height: 32 cm (12.6 in) condition is very good. The lamp has been displayed occasionally and remains unused.
