The Catalina table is defined by its circular solid bronze top, etched with a radiating linear pattern that extends outward from the centre. The subtle sunburst-like texture introduces movement across the surface while emphasising the warm tonal qualities of the bronze. Supporting the top is a black milled steel base composed of concave curved forms intersected by slender linear legs. Bronze edging traces the inner curves of the central structure, highlighting the geometry of the base while visually connecting the structure to the bronze top above. The contrast between the curved steel elements and the linear supports creates a balanced architectural composition. The steel surfaces retain a natural pebbled texture resulting from the milling process. Slight irregularities visible within the black finish are inherent to the fabrication method and form part of the table’s intended surface character.
