Minerva sofa by peter hvidt and orla mølgaard. Danish sofa, minerva model, produced by france and son. Designed in the 1960s by peter hvidt and orla mølgaard, this is a classic danish sofa. The two-back design is a rare model. The upholstery has been restored to a lovely gray looped fabric. The mattress and cushions are new: high-resilience foam custom-cut for this model and covered with thick wadding by an experienced upholsterer. Very comfortable. The mattress and cushions have removable covers with zippers and are machine washable at 30°c. Stamped with the france and son mark. Solid teak frame. The set is in very good vintage condition.
