Hutton-Clarke Antiques is pleased to offer this handsome mid 19th century French farmhouse table, crafted in solid cherrywood and dating to around 1850.
The table features a beautifully faded top with a rich warm tone and attractive natural grain developed through generations of use. It stands on elegant tapered legs, giving it a refined yet rustic provincial character typical of good French country furniture of the period.
Practical details include a drawer at one end and a useful pull-out preparation board at the other, traditional features found on working farm tables. The proportions are generous, making it ideal as a kitchen, dining, or work table.
