The design invites personal interpretation: the prints can easily be replaced with drawings, prints, photographs, or family portraits, allowing the owner to customize the piece while preserving its elegant structure. Visually reminiscent of the refined aesthetics of Louis XVI–style furniture, the oval brass frames evoke the backs of classic Louis XVI chairs, giving the piece a distinctly romantic and feminine character. The overall look feels almost cinematic, as if it had stepped out of the set design of the film Marie Antoinette by Sofia Coppola. Six folding brass hooks are cleverly integrated into the decorative brass motif connecting the frames. When closed, they become almost invisible, preserving the decorative harmony of the design.
