designs have characteritics of the ‘haagse’ style and art deco.

the wooden furniture has been painted which gives it the look of burlwood or walnutwood.

chairs have a low seat (heigth 42 cm) but it does not seem to be a children’s furniture set as rest of its size is perfectly suitabe for adults as well.

underneath the table there is an old paper label from the dutch railway company in a spelling that dates the set to be from the 1st half 20th century (nederlandsche spoorwegen) and indicated this set has been transported/moved in that period of time.
