Striking oil painting from Sweden dated 1947 painted by Ulla Borgström (1918-1999) listed artist from Sweden. Atmospheric interior rendered in expressive flowing brushwork and gorgeous color! The artist spent a lot of time in France and this is probably an interior painted there. Stunning in person!
This oil on linen painting measures 23 and 1/4 inches wide by 27 and 1/4 inches high framed to a size of 24 inches wide by 28 inches high. It is signed with initials U.B. lower left front of the painting. The painting is in very good condition and is framed in a primitive wooden strip frame painted black that is not original to the painting. The frame shows some wear and rubs but is presentable and adds to the charm of the painting. Please view photos for detailed conditions.
