This is a vintage Stangl Pottery sugar bowl and matching lid in the Pink Thistle pattern. This pattern was produced by Stangl Pottery from 1951 to 1978.
The design features hand-painted pink thistle flowers and green leaves on a white earthenware glaze.
The interior of the sugarbowl is a terracotta brown color. This is a stunning container which can also be displayed on a kitchen shelf for aesthetics. It is very beautifully made and the pottery has depth of character.
