Italian Neoclassical Demi-Lune Console Table, Circa 1790
Elegant Italian Neoclassical demi-lune console table featuring a warm fruitwood veneered frieze supported by four tapering legs decorated with carved and gilded feather motifs against a black ground. The legs are joined by sculptural ram’s head masks with gilded horns, a motif inspired by classical antiquity. The table is finished with a dark stone top. Italy, late 18th century.
