Pair of table lamps produced by Mathias in France around 1970.
Each lamp rests on a circular base supporting a polished, gilded brass sphere. The upper section features an adjustable, dome-shaped deflector, also in gilded brass, allowing the light to be directed. The overall design presents a simple geometric construction, based on the contrast between the solid sphere and the lightness of the metal shade.
Manufacturer's label present under the base.
