French Art Deco lighting of the 1930s carried the geometry of the 1920s into objects made for more practical, intimate use. In a desk lamp, that language becomes quieter: polished metal defines the line, glass softens the beam, and adjustment becomes part of the object’s poise. Produced by Pirouett, the lamp brings movement into the form with a sense of precision and ease. The hinged head gives the piece a quiet sense of intention, so the direction of light reads as part of the design.
