A very elegant asparagus dish in barbotine ceramic, dating from around 1900, complete with its removable draining stand.
The piece consists of a wide, naturalistic tray decorated with foliage and asparagus tips in relief, in beautiful shades of green and turquoise blue.
The ribbed stand, imitating a bunch of asparagus tied with burgundy ribbons, holds the asparagus at an angle for draining while offering a particularly decorative presentation at the table.
